Xenith Handpans
I founded Xenith in 2013, after years of exploring the emerging world of handpans. What began as a fascination with an unusual musical instrument became a career in tuning, making, teaching, design, and invention.
Over the years, I’ve built more than a thousand instruments and spent countless hours exploring acoustics, metallurgy, manufacturing, tooling, and the wonderfully obsessive pursuit of making a piece of steel sing.
Xenith has always been more than an instrument company to me. It’s a laboratory for ideas—a place where craftsmanship, music, engineering, and curiosity collide.
That work has taken me around the world. I’ve performed on five continents and had the opportunity to work with organizations including Cirque du Soleil, the San Francisco Symphony, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Along the way, my work has led to patented inventions, introduced me to an extraordinary international community, and given me the privilege of spending my life getting very, very good at something wonderfully obscure.
